Join us for stories, crafts, touch tank and music geared for pre-schoolers (ages 2 - 5). Each month’s theme is designed to introduce kids to a variety of marine topics while having fun at the Nautical Museum. The program has limited space, so make your reservations early!

South Coast Repertory (SCR) joins Sea Tales!
The Museum is teaming up with SCR to provide dynamic and interacting storytelling!
Dates and Time:
1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month
9:45 am - 11 am at the Museum (in the Steele Model Pavilion).

February: Wednesday the 3rd & Wednesday the 17th
"Who Lives in the Reef?"
Discover who lives in the reef as we swim through our colorful storybooks and then help your little one create their very own special reef full of Foamie fish on paper!

March: Wednesday the 3rd & Wednesday the 17th
"Big Fish, Little Fish"
Come and discover the wonderful world of fish as they swim through our stories. After, help your little one make a colorful googly-eyed paper fish!

April: Wednesday the 7th & Wednesday the 21st
"The Sea is Blue"
Explore the deep blue sea in fantastic colorful picture books and have your child create their own deep blue sea wood picture frame during our craft time! After the program, visit our “mini deep blue sea” touch tank.

May: Wednesday the 5th and Wednesday the 19th
"Treasure Chest"
Discover what's in the NHNM life-size treasure chest (necklaces, crowns, money, maps and books for the day). Decorate your own treasure chest with shells, jewels and treasures.

June: Wednesday the 2nd and Wednesday the 16th
"Row Your Boat"
See and touch boats from our collection, then assemble and paint your own boat to take home.
Cost:
Members: $3
Non-members: $5
Cost includes one child and one adult. Cost applies to all children who participate in the program.
Reservations
Reservations are required. Since the program has limited space and tends to fill up quickly, we encourage you to make your reservations early..
