Newport Harbor Nautical Museum Policies & Procedures

Donation Requests Guidelines

The Newport Harbor Nautical Museum receives a large volume of donation requests for special events. We ask that you please observe our guidelines when making a request.

  • We are only able to donate to federally licensed non-profit, fundraising events for 501(c)(3) organizations.
  • NHNM cannot donate to employee raffles or incentive/reward programs. Solicitations should be for fundraising events only.
  • Donations solicitations should include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
  • Donation requests may be submitted once per calendar year per organization.
  • NHNM issues four (4) guest passes per approved request. (Please note: Guest Passes are valued at $5 a piece.)
  • Donation requests should be made 4-6 weeks prior to the date of the event for processing purposes.
  • Faxed solicitation letters are not recommended, as we cannot guarantee their receipt.
